Arti, a single parent, was now looking for a companion to share responsibilities with and combat her loneliness.
She parked her car. The rain had stopped and the moon was out in its glory. She could see in the window, her favourite flower in the vase .
Amit, her high school friend often helped out by babysitting her daughter, Anu.
As she entered home, Amit faced her down on his knee. Before he could say anything, she shouted out in glee “Yes, I will marry you!”
He turned red and replied softly, “I was actually looking for Anu’s lost shoe.”
That’s really sad. The image portrays her vision, but the words say a different story. Good one in 100 words.
Thanks Srishti. I tried to give a twist in the tale!
Good post. I will be experiencing many of these issues as well..
